From 17 to 20 December, we would like to invite you to a meditation retreat at Wat Phra Dhammakaya Belgium, formerly known as Wat Phra Dhammakaya Benelux.
On this retreat, we will focus on faith, confidence and trust. What does Buddhism teach about faith? We will explore the difference between relying on blind faith and finding true faith based on experience. How do we learn to find refuge inside ourselves? How do we learn to trust when trust is needed?
You will have the opportunity to share your meditation experiences and ask questions to clear up any doubts. The monks will also share their meditation journeys and how the practice has helped them become more peaceful and happy. Teachers on this retreat will be Lp Sander and Lp Note.

The retreat is suitable for beginners as well as previous participants who have learned Dhammakaya meditation before. The temple will provide breakfast and lunch. Most participants will have their own room, but if there are many registrations you might have to share a room with one more person. This doesn’t happen often. There will be secure lockers for storing electronics. Meditation will take place in a beautiful hall, as well as outside in the forest.
You can apply here. In this form, you’ll find more practical information as well.
This retreat combines meditation and Buddhist teachings on other subjects. If you prefer to join a retreat which focuses on meditation technique only, you might consider joining the September retreat instead.
